Games Played

Matt, Michael E, Michael F, Jim, Alex, Dave, Ben, Jeramee, and Wolfie started with Bang! The Dice Game. Alex was the sheriff, but took a lot or arrows, and some lucky rolls on Michael F’s second turn did 4 damage to him, leading to a quick outlaw victory for Michael, Michael E, and Dave.

Michael E, Jim, Alex, and Dave played Twilight Imperium, 4th Edition.

Chris, Michael F, and Ben played Ben’s new deluxe edition of Suburbia. Michael took an early lead on the star track, which helped him to a strong finish with 103 points to Ben’s 80.

Matt, Jeramee, and Wolfie played Blood Rage, with Wolfie winning.

Chris, Michael F, and Ben finished up with Bargain Quest, where Ben won with 17 points, followed by Chris at 15.

Games Played

Chris, Michael, Dave, and Karen started with three hands of The Mind. They got to level 6 in the first two and the third was looking even better, but then they crashed and burned in level 5.

They then tried Chris’s new copy of Inis. It was a close game and everyone ended up having two victory conditions, but despite a last minute attack, Michael was able to hold on to both of his conditions and keep the Brenn, winning the game.

They finished up with a game of Metro, where Michael won with 65 points, followed by Chris at 61.

Games Played

Matt, Mary, Michael F, Jim, Chris F, and Dave started with a game of the club’s new copy of Camel Up. Helped be a lucky early bet on green, Jim won with 42 dollars, followed by Michael at 31 and Matt at 30.

Mary, Jim, and Dave played Rune Stones. Dave just edged out Jim for the win 68 points to 67.

Matt, Michael F, and Chris G meanwhile played Bargain Quest where Michael won with 15 points followed by Matt with 11, but a slightly different adventure card draw for the final adventure phase would have reversed those scores.

Matt, Chris C, Michael E, Michael F, and Chris G tried a learning game of Tiny Towns. Mistakes were made but Michael F ended up with 26 points to Matt’s 23.

With the rules under there belt, they played a second game, with Dave stepping in for Matt. This time there were no rules issues and Michael F finished with 24 points and Chris C with 22.

Chris C, Michael E, Michael F, and Chris G finished up with two games of Space Base. In the first, Michael F’s plan of putting some low VP values in single digits and slowly collecting points worked out and he won with 40 points with Chris C rapidly catching up at 23. In the second game Michael F tried a similar strategy and it again worked, winning with 47 points, but another couple of unlucky rolls and Michael E or Chris C who both finished with 29 points would have passed him with their bigger economies.

Games Played

Michael, Dave, Karen, and Ben started with the club’s new copy of Camel Up. Michael successfully bet first on both the winning and loosing camel, giving him the victory with 35 dollars followed by Karen and Ben who were tied with 32.

Chris joined them for a second game of Camel Up, where Michael again picked the leading camels winning with 38 dollars, followed by Dave at 36.

They then played Unlock! Squeek & Sausage where they were able to successfully escape with a few minutes remaining.

They played a close game of Between Two Castles of Ludwig. Michael won with a 67 point castle and a 76 point while, with Chris in second with two 67 point castles.

Chris, Michael, Dave, and Ben finished up with Caverna. Michael had 85 points with Ben just behind at 83 and Chris at 82.

Games Played

Mary, Michael E, Michael F, Jim, and Wolfie started with Railroad Ink. Scores were tight, but Michael F won with 50 points.

Mary, Chris, Michael E, Michael F, Jim, and Wolfie played Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig. Michael F had the highest scoring castle with 75 points, followed by Chris with 70.

The group moved on to two games of Shadow Hunters. Chris and Wolfie won the first game as the shades and in the second Michael E and Wolfie were victorious as the Hunters, with Jim tagging along for the win as Agnes.

Chris, Michael E, Michael F, and Wolfie finished up with Nemesis with the Voidseeder expansion. After a slow start with Michael E trying to get the other Michael killed, most people had fulfilled their objectives and were trying to get home. Things were looking up when Michael F and Wolfie had successfully hibernated and Chris was about to when a computer malfunction blew up the ship and everyone died.

Games Played

Mary, Michael, Chris G, Jim, Alex, and Ben started with Railroad Ink. Ben won easily with 53 points, but everyone was tightly grouped with Chris at 42, followed with 41, 40, and 39 points.

Chris G, Jim, Alex, and Ben settled in to play Eclipse for the rest of the day. Wolfie’s Hydran Progress was the clear winner at 48 points, boosted by getting (and keeping) a supernova on turn one, with Alex’s Orion Hegemony the runner up at 35.

Matt, Mary, Chris C, Michael, and Ben played Wingspan with Michael winning at 86 points,  followed by Chris at 83.

Mary and Chris C were victorious the villains against Michael and Ben’s spies in a learning game of Sabotage. Mary had to leave, but Chris took over both villains for a full game and once again defeated the spies before they could stop his doomsday device.

Games Played

Michael, Chris G, Dave, Karen, Foster and Jasper started off with Between Two Cities where Chris G was between the top two cities and won with 61 points, followed by Karen with 60.

Dave, Greta, Foster, and Jasper played Kingdomino with Dave winning.

Dave, Zoe, Foster, and Jasper then played Burgle Bros., but were caught in the act.

Chris C, Michael, Chris G, and Ben played two games of Wingspan. Chris C was victorious in the first game with 84 points, just edging out Ben at 81. Michael won the second with 85 points and Ben again at section with 78.

Brandan, Dave, Foster, Jaspar, and Faran played Citadels. Foster won with Faran in second and the remaining three tied for third.

Chris C, Michael, Chris G, and Ben played a quick game of Railroad Ink, where Chris G was the best network planner with 56 points then Michael at 48.

Karen, Dave, Foster, and Jasper wrapped up with Castles of Mad King Ludwig, with Dave in the lead when they had to stop.

Chris C, Michael, Chris G, and Brandan stayed laid to complete Star Wars: Outer Rim. Chris was the best scoundrel, winning the game with 11 fame from completing the Kessel Run, one turn before Michael would have gotten his final fame from capturing a bounty.

Games Played

Mary, Chris, Michael, and Jeremy started with two games of Bargain Quest, joined by Matt E for the second. Chris won the first game at 17 points, followed by Michael at 16 and Jeramee at 15. The second game was also quite close, with Chris winning again at 20 and Michael just behind at 19 and Matt at 18.

Matt A, Jim, Gerald, and Wolfie played two games of Wildlands, with Matt winning both.

Matt E, Chad, and Drake moved on to two games of Smash Up, where Matt one the first and Drake the second.

Chris, Michael, Jim, and Wolfie finished up with Suburbia. Michael had trailed most of the game but caught back up in end game bonuses to tie Wolfie with 94 points and win the tie breaker of reputation 8 to 7.

Games Played

Chris, Michael, David, Karen, and Alex started with Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig. Karen and Michael shared the high score at 61 points, but Karen’s other city was higher at 69 points to Michael’s 64, winning the tie breaker.

Chris, Michael, and Brandan explored the galaxy in Star Wars: Outer Rim. Michael got to 11 points first, but then didn’t have enough money to hire Chewbacca that would have gotten him his 12th winning point, allowing Chris the chance to win a risky combat and get his 12th point. However while cleaning up they noticed that Michael had forgotten his refund for equipment he had traded in earlier in his last turn, which would have left him with enough money to win the game.

David, Alex, and Elaine played A Feast For Odin with the Norwegian expansion where Alex just edged out David 117 to 108.

Chris, Michael, Brandan, and David played another game of Star Wars: Outer Rim where this time Chris was the clear victor, hitting 10 points while  David and Brandan were still at 7.
