Meeting Recap 08/16/25

Games Played:

Matt A, Alex, and Corlis played Dinosaur Island. Matt won.

Michael, Brandon, Jim, Luciano, Dave, and Matt S played Shadows Over Camelot. The knights were victorious (No traitor).

Brandon, Jim, and Dave played Cry Havoc. Brandon won.

Michael, Luciano, and Matt S played Nemesis: Retaliation. It was a quick loss for the good guys.

Alex and Corlis played Super Boss Monster, but were unable to complete the game.

Michael, Brandon, Jim, Alex, Luciano, Dave, and Matt S played Bang! The Dice Game 4 X. It was a good day for the law.

Michael (The Naalu Collective), Jim (The Naaz-Rokha Alliance), Alex (The Council Kelers), Dave (The Federation of Sol), Gerald (The Titans of Ul), and Matt (The Mentak Coalition) played Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition. Time ran out and the game was not completed.

Michael E, Michael F, and Alex played Firefly.  Michael E won handily.

Chris, Jim, Matt, and Jessica played Lords of Waterdeep. 

Alex, Chris. and Michael F played Wyrmspan.  Chris won.

Chris, Jim, Matt and Jessica played Age of Comics.  Jessica won.

Chris, Michael F, and Alex Splendor.  Alex beat Michael by one card

Chris, Michael F, Jim, Alex, and Jessica played two games of Quacks of Quedlinberg.  Michael won both

Games Played:

Chris, Michael, Dave, and Jessica played SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. Chris won by a lot!

Matt A, Jim, Alex, Jeramee, and Matt S played Space Base. Matt A won.

Matt A, Jim, Alex, Jeramee, and Matt S played Lords of Waterdeep. Matt A won.

Jim, Dave and Matt S played Splendor 2X. Matt won the first game, Jim won the second game.

Chris, Michael, Alex and Jessica played Clank Catacombs.

Games Played:

Michael, David, and Karen started with 10 Days in Europe. Michael got lucky and found the only country that would complete his route for the win.

Chris, Michael, and David tried out Michael’s new copy of Expeditions. Michael got lucky with some early card draw and synergy for a good start and ended up winning with 75 points, but Chris was right behind at 69.

Chris, Michael, David, and Karen played Illiterati and managed the coop win.

Chris, Michael, David, and Zoe moved on to The Quacks of Quedlinberg where Zoe got out to an early lead and no one could catch her. She won with 83 points followed by Michael at 70.

Chris, David, and Karen finished up with another round of Illiterati.

There was a collaborative game of The Shipwreck Arcana with a group win.

A game of Western Legends got played with the following characters:

Annie Oakley (Michael)

Jim and Matt had to leave, but Chris, Dave, and Michael played a game of Adrenaline which Dave won.

Games Played:

Richard, Chris, Michael, and Chris played Endless Winter: Paleoamericans. Michael won with 97 points to Richard’s 89.

Chris, Michael, and Chris played Wingspan, with Chris C running away with the game at 109 points, followed by Chris G at 83.

Meeting Recap 3/18/23

Alex J., Chris G., Gerald P., Jim H, Matt S., and Michael E. played a game of Twilight Imperium 4 with home systems in the 2nd ring, resulting in a high conflict game with multiple home systems being taken.  It was called as a tie between Alex and Matt.

Chris C. and Michael F. taught Duane C. Bargain Quest. In the first game, it looks like Chris was going to win, but then he drew the selfless adventure card which killed his adventurer – not only denied him a point for his adventurer surviving but also costing him two points for getting the musketeer killed. That left the final score with Michael at 16 and Chris at 15. In the second game, Michael was able to outfit the witch hunter with the avenger’s shield, giving him extra attack for every previously killed adventurer and allowing him to overcome the unspeakable one’s armor and win the game at 17 points to Chris’s 15.

Several games of Space Base was played by Jeramee, Jim, Brandon, and Matt, winners unknown.

A game of Mission Red Planet was played by Jim, Dan, and Matt S. with Jim as the winner.

A game of Starcraft was played by Jeramee, Dave, Brandon, and Megan with Brandon as the winner.

A game of Firefly was played by Joe, Matt A., Alex, Michael, and Gerald with Gerald as the winner.  The amount of times Michael brought the alliance down on himself and Alex at the same time through bad rolling made for amusingly high levels of disbelief!
